    Morality in horse racing ?
    There is none.

For horse racing to survive it needs revenue. Aside from the €70 million or so that the Government provide annually, the bulk of the remainder comes from punters. Who as we know, mainly lose money which goes to the bookies, who then prop up the sport via sponsorship.

It is worth noting that of the public money, only a small amount (<5%) is spent on integrity services. With unscrupulous owners, trainers and jockeys all in it for themselves, how can there possibly be morality.

Drugs & Medical Corruption, too many stakeholders in the industry with their own agenda. And at the very, very bottom of the pyramid are the hundreds of thousands of ordinary punters who are playing a fixed game.

If it's morality you are looking for, you have come to the wrong place.
