For anybody who has worked outside of Ireland, how did you go about securing work? Did you have work secured before you made the move or did you travel to a location and find work when there?

If you did secure work before you left, how did you do it? Was it through an agency or did you contact the perspective employer?

    All advice appreciated.

Your just asking how long is a bit of string.... of course there are people who secured jobs before arriving, more that found jobs when they went there, more that worked with agents etc....

What exactly are you seeking information on:
    - Country
    - Industry

    - Type of job: permanent or temp or summer job

    And about yourself
    - Languages
    - Qualifications
    - Objective: temp job, permanent move etc

I dont think I am? I’m just asking for peoples advice and opinions and what works best, via agency or contacting perspective employers directly if I was to go about it.
