Have you ever seen anyone slip on a banana skin in real life?

    I haven’t, just wondering if it’s a real thing.

It was really more of a “skid”.

Nearly did the other day actually. In a car park. Managed to hold myself up. But they are slippery bastards.

They are only dangerous if you are driving a go kart

I’ve seen it, and the only reason it’s still memorable and cracks me up to this day is because it was in school and the guy ripped his uniform pants when he did the splits :D

The floor itself was already polished too though so extra slippery already, but still! :pac:

Yes, once in my life in primary school, to the most accident prone girl I've ever seen, we were walking to the bus stop with a load of other parents and kids on a frosty morning so technically it was a frozen banana skin. She was a big girl and I still remember the massive smack she made when she hit the road.

Another time one of the big windows on the side of the bus fell out and cracked her on the head. Someone told me she was banned from going down a certain stairwell in the girls school aswell because of all the times she'd tripped going down it. She really had bad luck.

Years ago when I was a kid, I stood on one and pretty much ended up doing the splits.

No problem back then but if that happened me nowadays, I'm sure doing something akin to the splits would leave me in serious bother.

If you don't hear a cymbal crash when you hit the deck, it wasn't executed properly.

Love that it was the splits after you slipped on a banana.

That's straight out of a cartoon.

    And the lovely eyed Buster.

Physical comedy will never not be funny.

Saw it happen once in primary school but another kid threw it down in front of the victim (very successfully). Victim fell on his arse much to the hilarity of an entire class!

Going slightly off topic here but everyone remembers Chaplin,,,very few Buster, but in my opinion he was just as good if not better than Chaplin.
Busters big mistake was moving to MGM.Sadly his own studio got into financial difficulties :(

The slightly ages ones are very slippery. Especially on a tiled floor like some school corridors.
I saw it happen in secondary. The peel was take out of a bin so was a few hours old. They get all greasy. It's deffo a thing.
