    Hi folks.

Any fellow Skoda Connect app users ever got the lock and unlock feature working?

The Skoda Garage I deal with says they don't think Skoda have this available anymore but I wouldn't trust them tbh

    I have a 192 Skoda Karoq BTW

I attached a screenshot of the message I get from the app when trying to unlock the car

For access to most of the connect stuff, you need to register with a dealer. The dealer then needs to verify you on their end. Usually need the logbook, photo I.d. and the little silver tag that came with the cars keys originally, there is a scratch and reveal code on it.

The likes of keyless entry and remote start are also dependent on the cars spec, but if the car is capable the service is still available, if anything still in its infancy.

I have the same situation with my 192 Kodiaq. You need to register with the dealer.

However, I decided not to activate this feature. With Kessy, it is probably unsecure enough without letting it be unlocked via my phone.

The app already tells me whether it's locked or unlocked, windows up or down, and that's enough for me, when I'm too lazy to open the front door to check

Strange. With the Volkswagen We Connect (Same thing) you can do a video call to Germany on your phone to verify your ID.

I would ask your Skoda Service department rather than the sales, you might get a better answer.

It works on my 191 superb I needed to show the dealer my licence.
