In the event of an ex-spouse remarrying following their divorce, would both surviving widows/widowers be entitled to a pension if the ex-spouse died?

Also, is there a residency requirement in ROI for the widow/widower at the time of claim?

    TIA

If you’ve remarried then your no longer a widow/er so you’re not qualified to get a widows pension.
