    1. I’ve spotted a leak in my neighbour’s garden. Can you help?

    As this is your neighbour's private property, we would need to speak with them in relation to the possible water leak.

    They can call us on 1850 278 278, email us at operations@water.ie or contact us via our social media channels (Facebook, Boards.ie or Twitter) and a member of our team will be able to look into this for them.

    2. Who do I contact about a drainage issue outside my property?

    We recommend that you contact the Roads Department of your Local Authority in relation to drainage queries on public property. If the poor drainage exists only on the land of the property, then the responsibility would fall under the individual landowner or management company.

    3. There were works completed by Irish Water and a temporary reinstatement was put in place. This has partially collapsed and is a trip hazard. Can you help?

    Please us a PM with the following details and a member of our team will be able to have this matter investigated for you:

    - Full name;
    - Full address; and
    - Contact number.

    4. My new house was built over a shared sewer line and planning permission was granted to extend. What considerations must I give to the location of the sewer pipe if I wish to extend my property?

    When the planning permission was granted, all pipe work would have been taken into account.

    We recommend that you contact the Planning Department within your Local Authority for further information on this.

    5. We are experiencing delays with a new connection for our newly built house; can you please help?

    If your name is on this application, please provide the following details via PM and a member of our team can help you with this.

    - Full name;
    - Full address;
    - Contact number; and
    - New connection reference number.
