Seems Stena have an offer on that started today, 7euro single for a trip to Wales as a foot passenger. 14quid return is great value and it doesn't have to be a day trip, can go for a few days

Now normally they do a 3euro Paddy's day offer, unsure if this offer is in place of that or not

Cracking little offer and a great day/night away with kids in summer holidays

Below is a post of mine from a couple of years ago, a few boardsies did this trip and had a great time, with this offer you can stay overnight (travelodge in nearby Llandudno has cheap deals)

Suggestion here for ya, i'm from North Wales so know the area like the back of my hand

Get off the ferry and get the train to Conwy, leaves Holyhead at 13:07 and gets into Conwy at 1415

Spend the afternoon in Conwy, visit the castle, go the the smallest house in Great Britain, have a fish and chip dinner on the harbour, then get the 18:25 train back from Conwy, getting into Holyhead at 19:15

Train fare is 15quid return and Conwy really is a beautiful little town, less than 20quid for a day out

It doesn't allow me to go by my own car. Any route available from Ireland where I could take my own car?
    Thank you

Can't see any dates from Dublin to Hollyhead at the €7 price?

Lowest is €13 each way- for 6 euros more could fly to London or other parts of the UK with the Ryanair sale.

I just tried multiple days there and it's 7 euro each way for all of them.

And if you want to go to London, get a flight. If you want a booze cruise day trip or to travel somewhere in Wales or nearby, get the ferry. Especially if you have lots of luggage.

Must be blind, what months are you looking at to get to cheap rate?

I just tried various different months and they were all 7 euro each way.

13 euro is the price of an adult and child each way. Do you have a child added?

Does anyone know if you can bring a bike as luggage on this offer

    *Edit*

Actually let me answer my own question. Bringing a bike costs an extra €12, so a round trip with bike costs €38. Not bad
