VU+ Ultimo 4K

My OS Mega is occasionally (and getting less occasional) locking up overnight which is resulting in missed recordings. Coupled with that, my TV is about 8 years old now so am expecting it to die sometime in the near future, I'm going to replace it with a 4K compatible model for future proofing.

As far I can see the VU+ Ultimo 4K seems to be one of the best combo boxes around. Looking at the spec online it only lists the optional tuner as a DVB-T2, does anyone know if this is actually a combo one - suited for Saorview?

Finally, anyone have any reservations regarding this box or can recommend something else that's faster? Has to be an Enigma 2 box. Thanks!

Zgemma H7S would do everything you'd need for much less. I've not used one of the expensive e2 boxes, but hard to see where the H7S falls down, apart from the front panel which only shows basic time information and has a very bright logo

There is a choice of tuners to suit most needs, and three tuner positions to fill if required.

Yes, I 've been reading good things about the Zgemma box alright. Its definitely a contender, I would also like to see some reviews of the new H10 box before committing on one or the other.

Hi Suppercell, just wondering which box did you choose? Also in the market for a sky replacement.
