Immermat Flash timer, orange light always on...

    Hi folks,

We have two Immermat Flash timers on an oil-based heating system. We also have an immersion heater in the water tank.

One timer (I believe) operates a valve to allow hot water into the hot water tank. When the system was cold, I tested this by asking someone to turn it on and off at the timer. It sounded like it was letting water through/stopping flow.

Anyway, when that timer is in the constant off/timed position the orange light is pretty much always on, i.e. constantly firing up the boiler. This is when the other timer is in the timed, but off periods.

Any idea why I can't fully turn off the system when the rads are off?

    Thanks!

    Rikki

Sounds like there is a switch wire in the feed side of the time clock

    Hi Keith,

Could you explain what that means, please? Cheers!
