Hi everyone, apologies if this is not the kind of thing you're supposed to ask here. Could anyone recommend a hotel for a weekend away? I'm looking to get a voucher as a 50th birthday present. Location doesn't matter. Something fancy (hotel, castle ...) and needs to allow small dogs. Thank you!

Lough Eske Castle in Donegal its lovely.

It's a castle and allows dogs. Nice few walks around the lough also. They seem to be doing some deals recently too

Can second Lough Eske. Stayed there the Christmas of the bad snow with our dog. You get one of the ground floor rooms with direct access to the outside. Very nice grounds.
