    I have a generic DVB-t2 & DVB-T receiver.

If i am in an area with coverage of both Freeview and Saorview. Do i need to select one or the other?

Is it simply the geographic setting of the box?
The reason i ask is that i select UK as my region, however i only pick up Irish Channels.

    What box is it?

Generally a generic box will store any channels when found, Saorview and Freeview. How good is the Freeview signal in your area?

Are you currently receiving the Freeview channels with another box or TV in the house?

yeah im getting freeview direct off telly. Maybe the aerial im using for this experiment isn't strong enough.

Are you using 1 aerial for both Saorview and Freeview?
If so, how are are the aerials feeds joined and split again to the various TV points?

A distribution amp, located close to the aerials as possible, might be a solution to feed a number of TV points.
