    Recently put the wife’s Renault Clio up for sale on DoneDeal. I recieved the following text message today.. Hi we’re looking to buy Renault Clio cars, if you would like us to make an offer,add the car here.. then a link to their website.

    I’m wondering if anyone has used this or is it some sort of scam?

    Im selling my Passat and got a similiar message. I contacted them and they offered me exactly half my asking price. Chancers

    Not exactly chancers, you contacted them, they made you an offer. You didn't like their offer. These cash for cars operations are usually aimed at desperate people who need money fast, and are willing to take the hit.
