Does anyone know a website where I could buy 2" lengths of copper piping? I need it for a project Im planning and don't want to buy a hacksaw to cut a longer piece

    No idea.
    I'd buy a pipe cutter.
    Easy straight cuts every time

I can't see anywhere selling 2" lengths as a product. How many do you need? If you buy from a plumbing/heating shop local, they might be kind enough to cut it to length for you

+1 on the pipe cutter, much easier and neater than a hacksaw.

In fact. I'm in kildare, if you're anywhere close I can give you a loan of a pipe cutter

How long do you need the lengths to be?
    B&q do shortish lengths.

But a pipe cutter is cheap and easy to use.

Hang on, OP are you looking for multiple pieces of copper pipe, each 2 inches long?
No where is going to sell you that, you will have to cut to size yourself (and that will be annoying as 2 inches isnt much...

However, you might be able to get away with just using couplings?

Thanks for the replys guys. I'm looking for 1" diameter x 2" long .
If I bought a pipe cutter I'd never use it again.
I'm in South West cork so mile away but thank you for the offer Cletus
The coupling looks like it will work. Thanks greebo

Ask a plumber - he/she might have some offcuts from jobs.

You'd be better off going to a proper plumbing suppliers and buying a long length of pipe and a hacksaw or pipe cutter. It'll still work out cheaper than buying the scandalously overpriced off-cuts you see in the likes of B&Q and Woodies . Those places are absolute daylight robbery. if i could sell short offcuts of timber and pipe like they do I'd be a millionaire.

If the plumbing suppliers are any way sound, the lads there will cut the length of pipe for you.

EDIT. Sorry, i thought you wanted 2' long. It is 2". Yeah, nowhere will sell you such a small amount. That is ridiculous. You'll have to buy a length. Or maybe the suppliers will have a few off cuts or damaged bits of pipe that they can give you.
