Has anyone ever had to complain a Garda over being verbally abusive in a carpark, is it worth my time, Garda (didn't know he was a Garda at the time) claimed he bumped my cat came over shouting about me bumping his car I went to check no mark nothing said I was speeding I wasn't, I told him to go away I didn't touch his car he then followed me back to my car continued with verbal abuse I told him to go away then he said he was a Garda and asked my name started checking my car for tax etc. He was a real prick

Did he show any ID? I'd say he was spoofing.
Bit early to be calling in the Ombudsman

    claimed he bumped my cat

    Is that a typo ?
Did he really bump your cat, or was it a motor vechicle ?
If its a cat, then maybe RSPCA ??

19 years on the site and you ask this.

Of course it was a typo - The next sentence cleared it up

    Did you get his name?
Did he show his warrant badge?

Pricks in all walks of life.

Did you actually just tip the bumper or something?

If you know he is one you could write to the super in the area but honestly don't see anything coming of it as they can do what they like.
