€10K - €13K diesel car for long commute

    Im in the market for a Diesel car and wanting to spend between €10K - €13K at around the 131 -151 age bracket (flexible on this but seems like what my budget gets). Do a 150KM return commute daily on a mix of road quality. Would like rear seats for child seats.

    Had been looking alot at Skodas and VW. Like the Superbs but seems the Octavia are more in my price range. Here are a few options I have been looking in used car adverts at and would appreciate some feedback on reliability, services costs, economy, comfort.

    Appreciate any input at all. Hear so many varying opinions on Passats about reliability and service/repair costs. What entry level mileage should I try to aim at and what level of mileage is too much to inherit /best avoided.
