BMW F11 rear suspension dropping

    Hi

My F11 (152) is starting to drop on the passenger side at the back - so suspect the airbag in the suspension is leaking (it resets when the engine is on so the compressor is probably able to cope for now).

Anyone know any good Indys in Dublin area who will do this (preferably with Aerosus parts)? Had this with two E-class estates in the past and spent crazy money addressing it so keen to see if I can get this sorted more cheaply this time around.

    Advice/suggestions welcome!

Breach Motor Works (BMW) are BMW specialists. There located in Walkinstown

You want to get it sorted, the compressor will be working hard and if that goes you are into big money. The bags themselves are not a huge job.

    Some good info here:

If you are anyway handy it's a very very easy job to replace the airbag.

For peace of mind I regard it as scheduled maintenance every 4 years both sides.

Mine went a few months ago on my F11 - had a thread on it here. Got towed to BMW as was on the motorway when they went and I couldn't continue to drive.

Compressor and airbag gone. BMW covered 80% of the costs so ended up costing me €650 total.

Mine is a 141 with a FSH so it might be worth checking with BMW if they would do anything for you?
