Airport Time Capsule extending

Can I extend my wireless network with a wired connection to a non Airport device (time capsule , extreme ) I am using an extreme at the moment but it’s broken and needs to be replaced. Apple stopped supporting and manufacturing then 7 years ago. So can I plug a google mesh into my existing system to replace the extreme ?
