Administrative Officer - Grade 7 County Council

    I have been invited for a short listing interview with the County council next week in relation to a Grade 7 post as Administrative officer.

    Would anyone be able to advise what sort of questions would be involved in one of these interviews? Any tips would be much appreciated.

    I'm also after some information about an upcoming interview for Administrative Officer with a county council. I have had a few interviews with the council previously for different grades. I find the knowledge and understanding of the post/of local government the most difficult. I have been asked so many different questions about the council I am not sure what is best to focus on outside of corporate/ operational plans, annual budget etc.

    Any help on this is greatly appreciated:)
