Car checking sites

A question came up about a car I sold last year, and out of curiosity I entered its number into a car checking site (to see if it was still on the road). I didn't buy a report, but the site said it had 20 pieces of information about the car, and average running costs were y. That made me curious about how my current car would compare for average running costs. I bought the current car new last year, yet the site says it has 40 additional pieces of information.

I'm not bothered buying the report, but I'm trying to fathom what the 40 pieces of information could be. For the old car I'd imagine there'd be transfers of ownership, and regular NCT reports. The new car only has 1 owner (me), and not due an NCT yet. Both cars would have had car loans. Looking at the sample report, I can't see any info that the new car would have that the old wouldn't.
Any theories as to what the "extra" 20 bits of information would be on the new car?

Absolute generic bollox likely ripped from Honestjohn or similar? The suggestion of running costs would imply it is not vehicle specific.

    It’s nonsense.

"Running costs" seemed to be based on average fuel consumption for that size engine for 15k km per year, plus some generic costs for servicing and tyres, and NCT.

Bollox and nonsense were my first thoughts too.

Motorcheck apparently have 29 significant pieces of data for my car.

They didn’t have anything negative when I paid for a check before buying.

So "significant" probably means "It's got a VIN! And an owner! And was never a taxi".

Just tried 2 'guessed' numbers on motorcheck.ie. Both pretty much brand new cars you would think.

201 D 1265.....26 important records for this Hyundai.

201 L 1126....28 important records for this Skoda.

    Total Scaremongering gob****es
