Hosting For IPTV

    Hey,

I want to host my own IPTV service, only for my family though, not anything business related. The service they are getting is shocking and it keeps dropping constantly.

I'm able to get it up and running no bother on local host but my issue is trying to get the proper hosting for it.

Does anybody know of any good hosting providers out there that have unlimited bandwidth?
I've seen a few but I'm kinda hoping somebody here might have had experience in the past with this sort of thing.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers

If you have a PC with tuner cards you can build a home distribution system using the likes of TVmosaic to at least get an idea of the ins and outs of it all.

Your current question has a lot of things fundamentally wrong with the proposal, so build a HTPC and come back with a better question that's not completely illegal when you understand how it works.

Following your advice and since have gathered a bit more knowledge about it. Thanks for the help

Look, whatever about the legalities or not about what the OP wants to do, the truth is that his query is less to do about television and more to do with web hosting, so really it’s off topic for this forum. There are more appropriate places on Boards to ask the question I think
