Public service card

    Can i use a Public Service Card for id if travelling to Britain.As i have no passport and need to get over within the next 2 weeks.

    If you're going by Ryanair then not a hope, you need a passport..

    I went through London City airport(cityjet/aerlingus) and they accepted drivers licence..

    Ferry... should be ok..

    I would rather fly but will use ferry if i have too.Cousin is ill so thats why the rush.

    No choice really as they won't accept anything but passport, boat you will get away with it.

    Photo id is ok for airlines except Ryanair. (check websites to confirm).
    Same for all Dublin and Rosslare to UK ferries.

    Thanks for that.I will apply for passport but at least if it doesnt come in time i can fly
