Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Commuting from Ashbourne to Dublin city centre

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone knows what the quickest way to commute to work from ashbourne to Dublin city center? (I work on the quays - IFSC area) is is bus eireann or one of the private operators best?

    The Ashbourne connect is probably the best option. Goes through port tunnel so convenient for IFSC. Haven’t used it recently so check out their Facebook page for timetable

    Ashbourne Connect would be your best bet.

    €4 journeys each way but they do operate a tax saver scheme too.

    Timetables generally ok, traffic on the quays and M50 can be hectic at times but at least the buses show up when they are meant to unlike Bus Eireann.

    +1 for Ashbourne connect. Should be perfect for you. It stops at the convention centre and just before CHQ. Goes through the port tunnel too which saves a lot of time.

    Are single journeys still €4 with leap card? Website says €9 single journey with Leap.
