Aircon repair in Cork

I've an '05 Civic where the aircon has never worked (bought second hand). Tried getting it regassed but didn't make any difference.

Would anyone know of someone who could sort it out for me in Cork city? The car is worth close to zero I imagine so don't fancy taking it to the Honda garage. My current mechanic doesn't really do that stuff he told me.

    Thanks!

Did they regas it with a fluorescent dye the last time? It should be possible to find the leak with a UV torch then.

Do you know if the AC is engaging when you turn it on?

Could be the relay if it's not...

No they didn't as far as I know, they just regassed it. It was a local Quickfit.

Thanks for the suggestion I'll check that out when I get a chance.
