I am thinking of buying an Xbox Wireless Controller to use on my PC.

The problem is my PC doesn't have a wireless network card, I have it connected via ethernet all the time. Will this controller still connect to my PC? Or do I need to buy the Xbox controller with the wireless adapter?

It's not the same technology at all :) The controller needs its own wireless adaptor.

It uses bluetooth. You.can pickup a usb bluetooth adaptor for about a fiver.

Alternatively plug it into the pc via a standard usb cable.

The new models support bluetooth. The older ones (which I've found to be still on sale thank you very much Amazon) require its own dongle thats included in PC version of Xbox controller or you can get the dongle seperately for your existing Xbox controllers.
