Hi guys quick question what’s the easiest way to get a SIM card in India? Just for travelling for a few weeks. Arriving into Delhi airport. Airport probably the best place to grab one? Thanks.

You will need to register to get it. Whatever you do don't call home on roaming. Had a bill of over 100 for a 4 week trip

Airport is probably a good spot but it depends on the terminal you arrive in. There are 5

You don’t just “grab” a SIM in India. Last one I got took about an hour. Large number of forms to fill in, questions asked included my grandparents names and I even had to give them a fingerprint.

    You got away lightly. :)

When I was over last year, my Indian friend just gave me his spare card. Didn't want the handle of playing 220 questions :D
