I hope this is the right place.

I would like to know if there is a name for those ‘how to’ explainer videos showing someone what buttons to click on to access something please.

Sorry if I’m explaining this wrong - sometimes they feature an oversized cursor that slowly moves to the button to show someone how to do something online.

    Thanks.

In google, type in How to and append search criteria.

    Thanks, I think.

I was just wondering if those videos have a particular name rather than not knowing how to use google myself.

I guess 'demo videos' it is.

They are generally referred to as "How To" videos, IMO.

Can also be called an explainer video. Usually quite highlevel like "Explaining what Instagram"

Then you can have a "video walkthrough" where you would show the steps taken to sign up for something.

That would have a visual of the screen with the mouse moving and things being typed in.

If you could be more specific what you're looking for.
There are some series of videos that teach server/security/networking, etc.
    Some free, some paid/subscription.

    Professor Messer
    CBT Nuggets
    Pluralsight

few to mention, if that is what you need...
