Replacement to Discovery 2

Folks have an 04 Disco 4 Td5 7 seats, looking for a replacement, thinking 13k plus jeep. I was looking at an 08 landcruiser crewcab. I don’t want a hairdresser 4x4, or another Landrover, thinking of above or a pajero, but everythjg in this money bracket is either a wreck or old. Has anyone any suggestions or do I just spend money?

Some of these proper 4 x 4s command decent money because farmers will use them and small builders and they are pretty robust.
Was surprised to see my father's Hilux still worth a decent bit of money when he was looking at changing recently.
Do you need a real heavy duty 4 x 4 or just like them, they're an expensive thing to buy and run and none are really great to drive if you don't need one there's way better value elsewhere

I hear you on not wanting a hairdresser SUV though, don't get the point of them myself

And are you looking for a 7 seater?

Are you prepared to pay 1200 per annum road tax or must it have commercial rate?

If you are OK with the high tax, nice 2012 jeep grand cherokee in Cork on DD

Amazon would be nice tbh. I owned one before 4.7 v8 it was awesome. 5 seater commercial is what I’m looking for tbh with a estate 4x4, looking for that sort of crewcab tbh. That amazon is very exy tbh. Drove a g wagon yesterday, with upgraded engine done properly. That was tempting tbh

Both of those Amazons are crew cabs.
