    The last one.

Off You Go should win the third last. Far better than any of these. Should be a 6/4 shot. Will know your faith if this goes off 3/1 or bigger.

Real steel isn't a banker, Chris's dream is a quality horse and is best fresh.
Kachy has big weight ,if the wind is into his face in home straight i reckon he will be beat,if wind behind him he will cruise home.
I like geronimo in lord du mesnils race.
Really like king pelinor in irish opener.

Blackmore double of Chriss Dream and Spy Glass @10s.

    Spy Glass/Cyrname/El Ghazwani (3.45 Lingfield) @8s.

Something in me fry this morning telling me to avoid Real Steel.

Real Steel is a good horse, but throw in the ground and a few genuine other triers and his price is all wrong.

Snow Falcon is a fine price at 16's. Shattered love could also run a big one.

I would rather lose a tenner on either of those at the prices.

    King Pellinor very disappointing there.

Steamed in, went off 6/4. Fingers crossed he runs in the Balymore at Chelt, have him antepost at 20s

Closer that race gets the happier i am with the 16's on Epatante

Yep and there should be an investigation into what he was suffering from the past couple weeks and if it is linked to this injury, someone made a mistake.

Is it normal for an AW sprinter to carry that weight?
Seems a lot for that kinda race????
And after being lame LTO this all looks very bad now.......

I don't know but i don't think the weight was the problem.
It looks like they ran him back to soon from when he kicked something in the box the last day.
Hope they took the medical advice seriously and that this is a separate injury to the other day

    Cruel

Looked to get a fright from Traffic Fluide falling just ahead of him. Fell right on his neck, full weight down on it. Looked unsurvivable, but hopefully I’m completely wrong.

Looked at it back. He appeared to slip just before taking the last and essentially cartwheeled over it onto his neck. Seemed to be catastrophic unfortunately.

    Up and ok!!

I thought he was hitting the deck a couple of fences earlier, he seemed to slip slightly on landing. Great to hear he seems to be fine.

Controversial question, but....Cobden supposedly said in interview (after the horse got up) that the horse was done 2 out and he knew it...so...should he have pulled him up?!?!
Why make him jump the last if you know he is bust??
Reminders of last years NHC here
3M+ chases on heavy ground are very hard to watch

Was going to get bet into 3rd, so an obvious argument.

But easy to say from the couch.

Fair question as he looked beat a fair bit out. Just glad he’s ok. When I first saw it I feared the worst

Horses can die racing in any conditions. Kachy the most high profile death today was a 5f sprinter on artificial surface. It is the speed that kills horses, and although tired, it was the speed at which Cyrname fell, and of course the softer ground, that means he has every chance of recovering. Falls look worse such as Portrush Ted at Haydock where they can slide on their necks, but its why jumps racing is a winter sport.

6pm Newcastle, Able Jack. Interesting race and I think Able Jack will go close but fine 1 or 2 too good. I've layed Able Jack around 4.1/4.2'ish for the win, I can't see it winning the race, however I do think it will be placed so I've backed it to be in the first 3 roughly 4/5.

Im amazed at riders on the storms improvement for the change of yards, doesn't look good on his last trainer tom taffe.
Expect to see more purchases of decent irish novice chasers in the summer.

He was about to be comfortably beat by traffic fluide the form won't amount to much
