Hi my trusty defy is up for sale.
Medium frame - size 54. I'm 5ft 9 and its bang on. Frame has a few marks but still looks presentable. I'd say this is an ideal commuter - but I've done plenty of longer spins on it also.

Spec is 105/ultegra mix. Ultegra levers and derailleur, 105 cassette 52/36 chainset which I fitted 6 months ago. I upgraded the wheels last year to dt swiss, however the rims are worn. Dt swiss spokes, and dt swiss 350 hubs. Bottom bracket was changed about 9 months ago.. brake pads are fresh.

Original giant wheels come with it as well, the rear one needs truing which I can have done for an interested buyer. Besides that - if being fussy it could have 1 brake and 1 gear cable replaced. New shimano innner and outer kit to go with the bike.
I'll get pics up later but it's an honest ad.. I'm not sure exactly how to price it so I'll say 250 for now.

I might be interested. I need to double check that frame is big enough, so I'll check what size my other giant is. I'm a bit taller.

Yeah.. I've short legs so I've the saddle quite low, I'd say it would be fine to 5 11 at least . I didnt cut the steerer on fork so the bars can go up quite a bit also

    Geometry is here: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/ie/defy-0-2015

Resized the pics I have and added to the first post

Great turbo bike for €250 & would make a decent winter bike for most.

That would make a good bike for most never mind being resigned to the turbo or a winter bike. A very reasonable price also OP GLWS

Thanks folks. I've just dropped the original rear wheel to the shop to be trued, it actually isnt bad at all. so the bike probably not ready to go till tuesday or Wednesday evening. I've priced it reasonably according to condition, as I do need it gone. It's a comfortable good handling bike.

    Hi Gerry,

Offer 200 if gears and brakes are all good and drivetrain is not in need of immediate replacement

    Cheers

Yep sounds good. There is some life in the drivetrain right? Its 11 speed and working ok?

It will need a new chain relatively soon, with that there is a good bit of life left in the rest of the drivetrain. Brake pads quite new shimano .
