I'm considering renting a car for a couple of months. I'll need one for anywhere between 1 and 6 months (alternatively I may end up buying one, but just considering rental options at the moment.)

Ive never rented a car before, does anyone have any suggestions of which companies are good or which ones should be avoided? So far, the cheapest option I've found is easirent.com, €250 for a Toyota Aygo for a month. I don't need a big or a fast car, just something that'll get me from A to B (within Dublin.)

Any big pitfalls associated with renting that I should be aware of?
