    Hey,

I work in a big(ish) insurance company and I sit beside a guy who is treating me like ****, when we first sat beside me he used to say negative things about me and "slag" me. I gave as good as I got, we then started going for lunch together and everything was fine.

3 weeks ago I was on the phone and he started slamming his hands down on my keyboard, the same day I had a can of drink and he started shaking it whilst on another call, then later he shouted in my ear saying fat boy? By the way I'm 5 ft 10 and 72 kg so it was a strange comment. I ended up getting pissed off with his behaviour and asked him what the **** was his problem, he got annoyed and asked me to go outside. I laughed at him...He later aplogised.

Last Friday, I took a call off another collegue, and he wanted said call despite being on a different call (he had them on hold) he started throwing his toys out of the pram and started getting agressive with me, and asked me outside again to fight like, then started acting very strange like saying to my manager I wasn't doing things ect.

Today, he was commenting that I was recieving favourtism off the manager which is completely untrue and starting saying I didn't have to do one thing other people were getting assigned. Which is lies and the stats could prove that. I told him to mind his own business and people laughed at my comment. He then said we will see who is laughing at 5. Later that day I was asking one of the lads to head for a pint tomorrow after work, the guy butted in and goes who would wanna go for a pint with you you're a freak...

I honestly feel down about this, like I honestly thought that **** ended in school and I don't know I never let people treat me like dirt before and I don't want it to happen now. I think I need to go to HR but bit wary in a sense. The guy has recieved a warning when a verbal altercation happened between him and another guy, the other guy was sacked.

He sounds like an arse hole who has no filter.

Report him to HR, say what you've said here, it seemed friendly at first but now he's insulting you and intimidating you.

Because it's the second time someone may have reported him for harassment or similar hopefully he will be sacked.

Why should you have to deal with **** like that.

Go and see HR and keep documenting everything too.

He's acting incredibly inappropriately and you need to report this to your manager and HR.

Btw it's very likely your manager is aware of his bad behaviour.
