a friend of mine has just imported a lovely MGB (soft top, not the coupé), and he is having an issue getting it registered: VRT lady says they cannot find that model on the Revenue system......:rolleyes: it's not as if it's the only one in Ireland.......ever !.......

So, if anyone as a 1.8 MGB soft top, I'm looking to get the item on reg document labeled 'Statistical Code' - if anyones got one, I'd appreciate it.

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Yes- but NCT staff will spend zero time searching: if it doesn't jump off the screen they punt it to Wexford.

If someone has one registered already, the code will be on it.
