    Hi.

Just looking for some help. Our rent has gone up, it's now 1050 in the north Dublin area. My Partner makes between 350-400 a week depending on her hours
and I'm 400-450 a week depending on hours. Does anyone know if we can get any help with the rent? and how much could we get? were struggling at the minute, thanks.

the rent is €1,050 a month?

and you are pulling in about 800 a week? so 3,200 a month ish?

so you bring in 3200 ish a month?
rent is 1/3 of that which is very reasonable especially in dublin

There are no supports for an income of that kind, to be eligble for any type of rent supports youd need an income of less than 35k a year for a couple with the max being 42k a year in dublin city for 2 adults and 4 kids.

with 800 a week your already at 41'5k a year so well above the threshold for rent supports.

That's a good rent, assuming you are in a 2 bed or better. Keep the head down. Perfectly affordable on the wage you are pulling in.

Of course we don't know what other expenses you have, but using the info we do have looks like you are getting on smashingly. Just manage your money well and you'll be grand.
