Hi have a 2011 golf 1.6 diesel.dpf light came on the other day, usually disappears when I bring for a spin, did a couple of spins over last day or two but hasn’t gone. This eve glow plug light and engine mgmt lights came on, car in limp mode, short on power. Had to drive it home and was able to get it up to 120 kmph but lights are all still on. Any ideas? I realise trip to garage is in store just wondering what I’m on for? Cheers

Could be anything really. The DPF pressure sensors are prone to failure and not too expensive. It'd be unusual enough to see the DPF fail in one of those.

Has it had the emissions update?

Not sure, I bought 2 years ago but had always been serviced in vw dealers. Will bring to garage tomorrow, driving away but can only get up to 100/120 kmph. Would usually clear but hasn’t cleared this time so something else up. No smoke etc from
    Exhaust

    Is a forced regeneration possible?
