    Hi
My friend is using PS CS6 on his Laptop.
He can't open any RAW files from his NIKON camera.
The File names end in "NEF".

He has downloaded Adobe Camera RAW, but when the he goes to open a file from his library it says " Unable to open Camera Raw ".
We've looked at a few Utube videos but nothing has worked yet.

    Any ideas
    Appreciate the help,
    Thank you

If its similar to Canon and Sony there may be new revisions of their RAW format. CS6 is 8yrs old and doesnt get updates. ACR for such and old build won't be able to interpret newer file formats.
