Hi all. This year’s SERC 2020 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE will take place on Sunday the 5th of April starting and finishing at the Arklow Rock Parnells GAA club, Emoclew road, Arklow, County Wicklow.

The SERC 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE is a great early season sportive – it will certainly test the legs at this stage of the season – and works as excellent preparation for the summer sportive and racing calendar. For anyone who has yet to experience them it’s a wonderful introduction to two of Wicklow’s best known climbs, Slieve Mann and Shay Elliott (on the longer route - the shorter route omits Shay).

This is always a great event through stunning scenery in the heart of the Garden County. There are two challenging routes, 107km and 70km. Route Details: 107km - www.mapmyride.com/ie/arklow-l/serc-3-peaks-challenge-route-181747888; 70km Route details: https://www.strava.com/routes/7857220. Further information on the serc website https://www.southeastroadclub.com.

The Cycle will roll out at 9.30am; There will be a Water and Food-stop at Glenmalure Lodge Hotel car park ( 55km approx )and we will have refreshments before and after the event at Arklow Rock’s GAA club from 8:00am to 4:00pm for all participants.

A repair/ breakdown service will be available on the day but you are encouraged to have your bike serviced beforehand. We will have a large contingent of experienced event marshals on duty as well as lead cars, an ambulance, a mobile repair/ breakdown service and a broom wagon on duty on the day of the event.

If Participants start before the official start time the Support Vehicles, Marshals, Water and Food Stop may not be available until after the official starting time.

Entry details are available through the club's website or on https://eventmaster.ie/event/VoPiERTwv.
