Hi guys started seetec first month in and I’m after receiving a letter from social welfare to see an officer in regards to my welfare claim ?

I thought Seetec would have communicated this to them that I’m part of the programme ? Why would I need to attend claim review ? Trying to ring them but they don’t answer

Whether or not you sign the personal progression plan (PPP) with them, you should
still receive a letter from social welfare (SW) saying you are excused from signing on until x date.
Have you received this letter? If not, then for whatever reason, SW don't realize you are engaged with
Seetec, so phone SW and tell them you are engaged with Seetec and you haven't received this letter.

Your means can still be reveiwed at any time to see are you still entitled to payment. It would not be about you looking for work.

Yes guys I’ve received a letter last week that I’m exempt from signing on. Which would mean they would know about seetec?

That’s why I found it strange I’m trying to phone them all day no one ever picks up in that office.

Some offices are so busy and so short staffed that they decide not to answer the phones in order to deal with the customers who present themselves in person. If you can’t get there personally then you’ll have to write to them instead of ringing endlessly with no reply.
