Dental Refund

    Hi All,
    I have submitted a dental refund request, how long should I expect to wait until a refund hit my bank account?

    If this is for 2019 then you have to file your eForm 12 before any refund will be processed, and in that case you may have a bit of a wait. See this thread.

    It's a refund for 2018 and no sign of it hitting the bank account yet, today!

    When did it go to Revenue ?
    Did you get anything to your ROS inbox yet ?

    I submitted Jan 30th and no correspondence in my revenue inbox, no post received either.

    It is a bit erratic at present. There are big delays on some 2019s. I submitted 2018+2019 on 27 Jan and both SOL only came up today yet they're dated 28 Jan. I'd hope yours is imminent.

    You might need to set up a bank account in Revenue to get the refund. I am not sure if Revenue are still sending cheques for PAYE refunds as they were in the process of no longer using cheques for either payments from taxpayers or refunds to taxpayers.

    In any case setting up the bank account with them usually speeds up any refunds. Medical expenses refunds have never taken more than a week in my case that way, once I upload the receipts and fill out the online form.

    Hi I submitted request January 30th, Bank account Details are correct and nothing in ROS inbox.

    Bank account details are correct, it will be two weeks tomorrow, I think its time for me to try calling !!
