If its in any way modern, your local authorities planning website.

If older, local authority physical planning office. This also applies for many former Town Councils that didn't have their planning websites integrated in the 2014 merger.

    When was the house built?

Also remember that Planning drawings are not construction drawings so there may be big differences in the planning drawings and what's actually constructed.

Interesting about the construction drawings. I presume these are unavailable to get. Id love to get those for the house I just bought. It is different from the planning drawings alright.

    Where did you buy?

You could ring the designer and politely ask making it clear they are for personal purposes only and no obligation on them that they are an indication to the exact location of structure, services or voids.

I bought in Stillorgan, Co Dublin. I have the planning ref and have poured all over the designs. However the finished article is not what planning was put in for. its not far off though.
