Anyone recommend a crash repair garage in Limerick. Reversed into a trailer recently and was left with the damage shown. Anyone know roughly what the going rate to fix it would be?

To do it properly you're looking at repairing and painting the damage and sanding and relacquering at least up to the door. There is a little on the boot too that you could touch up but if you want it perfect you'd be doing the boot too although on one photo is looks like the boot is damaged more.

For the rear quarter prob looking at around 300 quid but prices differ wildly. Add another 300 for the boot.

If you were on a budget you could probably get an ok job by just doing the area but it won't be seamless.

Thanks. Have been quoted €400 so I wasn't sure was it a high price or not. Post-repair will it look like new or does that all depend on the the skill of the guy doing the job?

I would have thought €400 was very reasonable to spray a quarter panel. Especially on Black.

Entirely down to skill and equipment. Could be a dogs dinner if not done right, so get recommendations, does the workshop look clean well run, what calibre of cars are they working on, let them know you are particular with regard to colour match, finish, etc. If they know you are on the case they are more likely to be too.

You could get it done cheaper than that if you are happy with a job that would just tidy it up enough to not be obvious. Won't matter a damn at NCT anyway.

I wouldn't be going down the "get it perfect" route unless someone elses insurance was paying for it all. Just isn't worth the money, especially since it won't be visible as the backs of most cars in ireland are covered in shít half the time anyway.

Who owns the trailer? Any chance you could claim off of them if they had the trailer parked in a dangers position?
