    Hi I dont think there is a thread for this. Anyone else on here going for it? Or does anyone have an tips? It's been years since I applied for a Public Sector job!

    Its a competency-based / behavioural interview (for the most part - they might throw in some more general or opinion based questions - 'what makes a good team' etc)

    Have your STAR technique drilled. Look at the competencies for an indication as to possible questions.
    I'd probably be practicing responses to questions such as:

    Tell me about a time you changed someones mind / changed the mind of a senior manager.
    How do you manage your workload?
    Tell me about a project you lead out on? What did you learn? (or what would you do differently?)
    How do you deal with conflict?
