My rear park lights there’s 3 bulbs all single filament . When I changed the top bulbs the other 2 park lights went off in the same light and once I take out the bulb the lower 2 will come back on again. Iv changed all the bulbs . What could it be there’s power is it to do with ecu . Also my indicators are all flashing mad . All bulbs are fine . And when I put hazards on they are at normal flash rate . What could this be

Check for split or broken wires in the boot. 3 series are brutal for it and causes head melting problems.

Probably a wiring issue but you should look into the BMW First promotion, you get free replacement bulbs and they'll install them for you, personally I'd sign up for the promotion (free month's trial I think), put back in the old bulbs, bring the car down to the main dealers get them to replace the bulbs, they'll probably tell you what's wrong or if it's something small fix it there for you, by and large the mechanics are sound lads and if it's a quick fix with no parts needed they'll do it there and then

If u disconnect the plug u will find that one of the wires is burnt away. Common on all bmws around those years
