Morning everyone so last week I bought a humax 1100S recorder and I love it, it’s brilliant I know it’s old but I had twin tunner the two black cables in my sitting room so I bit the bullet.

On the Humax website it says I can record two programmes are the same time while watching another so right now I’m series recording fraud squad on bbc1 and Jeremy vine on channel 5 and when I go go change the channel it says I can’t because I’m recording.

What am I doing wrong both channel I’m recording is in HD?

It's a twin tuner recorder, both tuners are being used recording from different transponders. You may be able to view channels from these 2 transponders but not a third, someone may be able to confirm. You should be able to watch a recording while the 2 recordings are in progress.

The new Arris Freesat receiver has the capability of recording up to 4 channels simultaneously or 3 while viewing one channel with the correct LNB setup.
