Cattle trailer tyres

    Wats ur opinions on the larger 16 inch 10 ply tyre on an ifor 12ft twin axle cattle trailer are they harder or steadier pulled and wat pressures go into them tyres...are the a long lasting no puncture tyre??

    Check max load rating on the tyres to make sure you can carry your load,

    I've 6.50 16's on a 12ft Graham Edwards for years and no complaints so far, I find them a good all round tyre and they seem to be wearing well although there getting weathered looking. As regards stability I don't know if they are better or worse than other sizes but I don't have any problems towing the trailer either loaded or empty. I tend to run them about 45 psi, I don't know if that's the recommended pressure but I find it works best for carrying 4-5 heavy suckler's.
