Territorialism - men, women etc

An exhibition to me of the ultimate animal nature of humans.

We're cognizant, but still base animal impulses.

I don't want an in depth scientific discussion;

I'm just looking for some funny anecdotes of your experiences with territorialism amongst you fellow man, and woman.

Being "alpha male" etc.

Power is an aphrodisiac, and of course it's appealing to the opposite sex however, historically the alpha-prototype is thought to be the biggest, most imposing masculine looking brute.

Big and strong is of course a part but, that alone doesn't cut it (I think because women love men that are emotionally ruthless - but physically ruthless is not tolerated, for obvious reasons).


It's extremely taboo to even mention this around here (in attempt to avoid slander of the culture) but, the most incidences of territorialism I experience on a day to day basis, is with members of the travelling community (but of course not limited to the travelling community - with diverse societal individuals - but reliably with the travelling community).

Both men and women.

It's like they feel affronted by my very presence.

Territorialism in females, from what I've seen, it tends to be more underhanded.

As in, competition for males and/or male attention?

They'll smile sweetly to each others faces, then sneak up from behind to cut each others throats - it gets pretty intense with some pretty nasty feeling.

Yup. It is kind of tiring early in the morning to have to walk around and save a little bit for every person I want to mark as my territory but on the plus side once it's done that's me set for the day and I have fantastically flexible hip joints.

I use a spray bottle, but I like the idea of improving muscle strength, balance and joint mobility. Yours seems a much more dominant method too, I'll start practising immediately.

I do it free of charge to assert my ownership over certain people.

Now, I'm sure we could come to some arrangement if that's how you get your kicks. I think Gynoid might be a better option for you though.

Well, it's becoming clear that posters here have less familiarity with asserting themselves, territory wise - but I'm sure many have been on the receiving end, no?
