    Howdy do folks.

I'm looking to see if anyone can assist me here with working out the best way forward with this situation.

Effectively, I have a house with a gas boiler. I converted a shed into a garden room, and a plumber ran some pipes and fitted radiators into it. Shed is poorly insulated so you kinda have to put the heating on for about 30 mins before you go in to get the place to any kind of comfortable level of heat.

In order for me to turn the heating on or off in the shed, the plumber installed a lever that can be turned on/off. Like the picture below:

(He actually installed two - one for the house aswell, should a situation arise where i want to heat the shed, and not the house, and vice versa).

I'm trying to find out if i can automate at all, the shed lever aspect of all this.

I can find, on amazon, this product, which I believe would allow me to do it from my phone (so if im not home, i can turn the heating on to warm the place up for when I do get home)

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07H3RT8X8/?coliid=IXNAG7BELHYC1&colid=LQWFZRNPNYHN&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

But before I buy it, i thought i'd ask here if anyone had any better ideas or suggestions at all? There are often better ideas readily available, but as I know little to nothing about plumbing, or the automation of it, i figured it'd be best to ask here.

(i realise a separate zone on my heating thermostat would be the best option, but unfortunately im lead to believe that would cost many hundreds of euro, which I'm not really willing to invest in a space that's not used that often).

    Thanks in advance, folks. :)

Install motorised valves in place of the lever, then link Hive or another internet enabled heating control to it.
