    http://www.moneyguideireland.com/lo-call-numbers-included-bundles.html

It seems we can now call free on a bundled deal.
I just play it safe with saynoto1890.com/a-z-listing/

Thanks OP for sharing I wasn’t aware of this. This impacts most people and should save them having to google the alternate number

Comreg requested all networks to inform customers about the change in the law in November by text, it made national news on tv and print
Not sure how you missed it tbh

I obviously did miss it, so did my girlfriend, and so did at least one other poster here, and then there is the person above that is still going to use 1890, as well as the people that ‘thanked’, his post.
    This may reassure them.

It’s a bargain alert for a few people th as t don’t know about it, it isn’t a bargain alert for people that do know about it, I really don’t see your issue.

    Be good ;)

Does it apply to pay as you go?

Service Announcement - From 1st December 2019, calls to 1850, 1890, 0818, or 076 non-geographical numbers will cost no more than a call to an Irish landline number and will be included in call bundles (If applicable). Calls to 1800 will remain free. Further information can be found at https://www.comreg.ie/ngnreview

That's the text I got from Vodafone last October.

I'm pretty sure I didn't get that either. Didn't know anything about it

It applied to Vodafone x when I was in that and also applies to gomo now I’ve moved, basically if you have minutes it will come off that and if you have credit it will be charged as a normal call rather than the rip off prices previously

Hold on a second Paddy, are there more people other than the OP and myself who were not aware of this?

Your original and subsequent comments (together with the tone) were both unhelpful and against the mantra of what this forum is about.
