    Hello all,

A friend of mine bought a house last year, and recently found out that it is registered with the RTB.
Has anyone any experience of unregistering with RTB without details of the person who initially registered?
The RTB FAQ is of no help in this case, and when RTB were contacted by mail to assist they responded with a form to update existing details.

    Many thanks

    J

It's the previous tenancy that is registered not the actual house.
No need to take any action but he could just write to them or email explaining the situation.

No need to do anything. RTB registration only applies to the previous owner/LL.
