Hey guys. I got great help the last time I was buying so I'm hoping to pick yer collective brains again.

Kids are getting older and bikes and scooters are becoming part of most journeys
    So I'm looking at estates.
I have a soft spot for Octavia VRS' as I'd like something a little bit "sporty"

    Something like them...
I'm just not sure what I should be looking for or does anyone have any alternatives. I'm open to suggestions...520 estates maybe or a4/a6 avants..

    TIA

I'm looking at going up in the years myself too pretty soon and like you I'm looking at the 2013 or newer VRS estates.
I'm open to other alternatives too and I like the A6 Avant and the 3 series estates but keep going back to the Skodas as I think they look better inside and out and make good power in the vrs and having a 2007 Octavia 4x4 for the last 3 years I know how good and reliable the Skodas are and nice and easy to work on when you have to.

There's no comparison between the A6 avant and a 3 series.

    150
184 v rare in the newer Leon estates
    It'll be a 180 in the spring. ;-)

Yeah fair point on the bhp.

However that red one is a 2015 with over 100k miles. (170k km)
Mine was from a Seat main dealers, 2017 with 45k km. The horses make a difference and the vrs is a bit bigger. But there's thousands of euro in the difference.

150 is pretty good day to day.

I have the 150 in the Octavia. Was curious when you mentioned the Leon as they were on my shopping list too a few months ago - but 184 with the right spec was way more than what you paid for yours.
