    Hi there,

I am looking to plan a trip next year and was wondering a few things!

    1. What is the cheapest time of year to fly to Thailand/Bali and when is there hot season or is it bearable all year round? What would the approximate cost be for flights?

    2. Would there be any savings made by booking accommodation or should you just do it when you get there?

    Any other tips much appreciated!

    1. Did you Google it? Be mindful that the weather might not be the same across all 3. ie. Wet Season might be Dry Season in one of the other counties. I don't know. I visited Thailand during their dry / hot season in February, flights cheap enough 600eur booked 3 months in advance and accommodation cheap too, roughly 10eur a night approx.
    2. It might depend on what sort of accommodation you have in mind? When I was in Thailand I booked a hostel a few days before which was grand and the same for Japan. Hostels in Thailand and Japan (particulary Japan) are clean and really good value. If you have luxury accommodation in mind it might be best to book a good bit in advance when it might be cheaper. Doubt hotels in Bali / Thailand would be expensive anyways
Sounds like a busy itinerary if you're visiting all 3 countries.

If you are planning to visit Thailand then you should consider your trip from November to March or even can also include April in this. However, after April temperature will increase and things like moisture in the air, flooding and rainy season can spoil your trip. To get better flights deals you can visit the following sites:

    https://www.google.com/flights?hl=en&gl=th

    https://greatesttraveler.com/flights/

However, if your question is about savings and booking accommodation then you will have to compare the flights' rates of different companies and their discount offers. You can visit Expedia to compare flight rates but I would recommend you to must check the medical situation in Thailand before your trip. Yeah! I am suggesting some precautions due to coronavirus. Otherwise, airlines are doing their best these days to handle this situation. Best of luck!

OP how long are you planning on going for? I ask because there is massive distances between the three of those countries, it wouldnt be worth your while trying to visit all three in just two weeks for instance. You'd want a minimum of 2 weeks in Thailand, 3-4 would be better. Same goes with Japan.

    .

Maximum 4 weeks I'd say. Maybe 5 days Japan, 2 weeks Thailand and 1 Bali. I know I won't get to see everything.

4 weeks is pretty decent but would still consider leaving one of the 3 places out. I dont think it would be worth travelling all that way to stay just 5 days in Japan for example. You'll lose a day getting there and another coming back too. Perhaps consider leaving out Bali and seeing it on another trip, it is but one of 13,000 islands in Indonesia. If you did two weeks in each of Japan and Thailand and with a well planned advance itinerary you'd get to see most of the highlights of each country.

Tbh I probably won't be making the trip again for years if ever. So I'd like to see as much as possible.
